Greetings!

Toddler Room was a lot of fun on Sunday!  Ms. Chris and her team continued the lesson on how God makes things that grow.

During class we got to do a really neat craft that Ms. Chris prepared for the kids.  It involved little paper dolls that the kids got to decorate that were then attached to a really neat piece of wood and tied together with ribbon.  They were so cool!  We also enjoyed a great time of worship with the older kids in Kid's Church as well as a snack, storytime and discussion about animals that were cut out of paper.  We ended class with more worship songs and playdough.

Ms. Amy and her team also had a very good morning in Kid's Church.  They talked about the Spirit of God giving us new life and specifically about Ezekiel and the valley of dry bones.  Ms. Amy also showed some fun clips of a chick hatching, seeds sprouting, and caterpillars turning into butterflies as well as treated the kids to some fun time on the gigantic playground in the wonderful sunshine!  During craft time they made flower pots with flowers that could "grow" resembling the new life that we have in Christ.

The memory verse for the week is: "I will give you a new heart and a desire to be faithful.” Ezekiel 36:26

Also, we’ve provided a handout (shown below) to each family over the last few weeks as the children have exited Kid's Church.  Be sure not to miss this exciting time next Sunday!  You are also welcome to attend class with your children to watch them share their talents if you like.
