Throughout the month of May, we celebrated 5 years of being Elevate Church! Signs were posted, gifts distributed, and memories shared as we recollected everything God has done within and through our church family. Reaching the 5 year mark has been a huge milestone, as most church plants close before ever reaching this point.

This past Sunday we held an official Birthday Celebration complete with a time in worship with eKIDS, a family meal, and outdoor games and activities for our children. Fun was had by all!

During our Birthday Celebration, Pastor Steve took a moment to share about the land God has given us. Elevate owns a 14 acre plot of land located just off I-5 near the Clark County Fairgrounds. Over the last few months, our finance team, building committee, and various other leaders have been working diligently to determine the next steps in re-locating our church body out to our new property. In order to raise additional funds, there is possibility of selling some of the plots on the property (pictured blow) and using the revenue from the sale to go towards our building costs.

The church was given 3 areas of involvement regarding this building project:

Ownership - taking ownership of our new property and declaring it as OUR land.
Prayer - praying over the land, the building process, for everyone involved, and praying for the moment that it is finished.
Resources - committing to giving regularly and giving generously.

Each family received a vial (pictured below) containing soil from our church property. This tangible token is for us to remember what God has blessed us with, what He's doing, what we've committed to do, and what the future holds.

Thank you for your commitment with this building project, and thank you for loving and serving our church community.
Happy 5th Birthday, Elevate!
