"By ancient definition, the adamant was known as both a diamond and a mythical stone of indestructible wonder. In more modern terminology, it describes a posture of unshakeable resolve and determination. If there was ever a time for us to be adamant about love and truth it is now. God is Love. God is Truth. Both love and truth are timeless, transcending our current trends and opinions. Sometimes the most loving thing we will ever do is to speak the truth, but speaking truth begins with living it.
Using the mediums of Scripture and story, New York Times bestselling author Lisa Bevere takes readers on a journey into the Mountain of God, to the one place they can learn not only to abide in God's unshakeable truth and love, but become adamant--people who are unmovable, determined, and steadfast. With conviction and passion, Lisa unpacks the concept of the adamant for readers, linking together the grand story of Scripture and God's purpose in their lives. Readers will see that God's plan is revealed as we dwell in him, it is there that we are forged and shaped. As we abide in Christ our Cornerstone we are shaped into the image of the adamant." Water baptism is the appropriate next step for a new follower of Christ. Baptism is a highly symbolic act of obedience that makes their decision to follow Christ public. We make this possible by scheduling water baptisms during our weekend gatherings throughout the year as requested. Be sure to register here.

HOW DOES IT WORK? - Simply form a "group" consisting of a small group of friends, family, coach-trainee, etc. Each participant will complete one chapter (4-5 lessons) of book study on their own (including all questions and answers) and then gather with their "group" for general discussion on lesson highlights/application and prayer.
Groups work to see each group member gain confidence to lead portions of the discussion. As understanding and confidence to lead grows, each participant is encouraged to recognize future opportunities to take friends, coworkers and family through the same material for the purposes of building followers who will in turn build followers.
While the material is geared at young believers, we believe that studying foundational gospel truths with a partner or group will create moments of discussion, coaching, and growth that will inspire and prepare all involved for future discipleship opportunities.
HOW DO I START? - Elevate Church family members who want to participate in this small group discipleship process can get a book from the Coffee Counter or The LOFT at no charge. Digital copies are available to purchase HERE.
