3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they are good for us—they help us learn to be patient. 4 And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady. 5 Then, when that happens, we are able to hold our heads high no matter what happens and know that all is well, for we know how dearly God loves us, and we feel this warm love everywhere within us because God has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
Trials and problems will come our way and when they do they will make us a stronger individual for God, for when we are weak we are strong.
I choose to place my trust in God for He always has my best interest at heart. He will give me the strength to carry on as He carries me through the storm.
There have been times in my life when I felt the storms I was facing were insurmountable and I saw no way out. But God had a way for me. He gave me not one rainbow but two rainbows. Then He let me drive through the end of one of those rainbows. I felt our Heavenly Father speaking directly to me, telling me that everything was going to be okay as He filled the car with brilliant colors as only He could. All He asked was that I trust Him.
I have a favorite quote, “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.” So I choose to place my faith and trust in God as I walk daily with Him down the path He has chosen for me.
And yes, our Heavenly Father is teaching me to dance in the rain.
