This weekend we gathered around our Panama '15 team and prayed over them as they prepare to depart early Thursday morning. They are (L-R) Steve Parrish, Justin Reude, Jeff Thompson, Jessica Ruede, Greg Welter, Leslie Parrish, Gary Richards, Ken Belden, Peggy Osterweil, Anna Atchison, Mike Atchison, Matt Willett and Stephen Burgess
All families receiving a home through YWAM's Homes of Hope are involved with the entire building process. On the front end of the build, they are required to take care of the foundation before the the team arrives. Our project is right on track. The foundation was poured this week and awaits our arrival in just a few short days.
The recipient of the home for our Panama '15 project has been selected by the leadership of YWAM's Homes of Hope, a family with three children living in Chepo, close in proximity to the Cabezon's (last year's build).
Lisbeth and her children, left to right, Raul (11), Richard (9) and Ricardo (7).
Lisbeth was widowed three years ago and works Monday-Saturday at a local sawmill, earning $400 a month. Raul is in 6th grade, Richard in 4th and Ricardo in 2nd grade.
We are thrilled to serve them in this project.
